I made this twin-sized quilt for Pete's nephew, Nicholas, who lives in Chicago. Nicholas loves dirt bikes and motocross racing. I first met him him this past June. We arrived at his house and I went in to see the rest of the family. About an hour later Nicholas walked in. He'd been outside riding his battery-powered dirt bike the whole time! Pete thinks Nicholas is about ready for a gasoline powered dirt bike. I'm sure Nicholas agrees, but I bet his mother doesn't!
I used a South Seas Imports panel on the front and a fun Timeless Treasures fabric on the back. The back fabric is sky blue and shows various bikers flying through the air.
