Robot and bubbly beaker

On April 29 a group of us saw the Professor Blastoff podcast crew perform. Kyle Dunnigan, David Huntsberger and Tig Notaro were awesome and we had a great time. Intern Aaron was funny, as well as special guest Doug Benson.  I made this quilted robot holding a bubbly beaker for Tig:

Gesundheit!

I used fabric scraps to make these adorable tissue cases that I gave to family and friends for Christmas. They are quick & easy to make, and I will add a tutorial to the blog the next time I make some.

Christmas table runner for mom

I made this Christmas table runner and matching napkins for my mother for Christmas. I used Christmas fabric that was on sale at Hobby Lobby, pieced together batting scraps leftover from longarming (new word) and fabric from my stash for the backing. This was a nice gift for under $10!

Public Thank You Note

Thank you to my cousin Jessica Pierre'auguste for this pin cushion and thread waste basket combo. What a clever idea! She says this part my gift, part Pete's. Pete hated that I just dropped threads and scraps directly onto the floor or onto the dogs' heads (because it's funnier).  And now I don't have to sweep!
Pink and green - my favorites!

Jessica gave this to me Saturday and two days later,
I've already put it to good use!
