A surprise, and a quilt, for Kristi

My friend Kristi is (surprise!) expecting a baby girl in March. Not only is she shocked about baby Eliza's arrival, she is overwhelmed by the amount of pink pouring in by the way of gifts! I added to this sea of pink by using vintage floral fabric to make this disappearing 9-patch quilt.

A 30th birthday gift

First, happy 30th birthday to my cousin Jessica of there is a splendid calm. For her birthday, I put together an X's & O's design table topper using Moda's Circa 1934 fabric. I love this fabric line and cannot wait to use it to make something for myself.
